Claiming Blocks on the Map
The job map is a world grid of district-sized blocks. Once you have published a job you can claim the blocks you hire in — click them one at a time, or shift-drag a rectangle. A claimed area has to be one connected piece.
Your logo on the ground
A held area is drawn as your company's, with your logo across the whole of it rather than a marker on one square.
First in the list
While your area is in view, the job pinned to it sits above the rest, carrying a badge that says which area it holds. Holding more of what is on screen ranks you higher among other holders, on a square root — twenty blocks counts for about four and a half times one, so buying more keeps helping without letting one purchase flatten the list. Nothing is hidden or pushed off; only the order changes.
Held until outbid
Blocks open at $1 and change hands by outbidding, at whichever is more: ten percent above the current price, or twenty-five cents. Every block returns to the opening price at the weekly reset, so no one holds a city indefinitely.
One thing worth knowing before you bid: you pay for every block you bid on, including any that a higher bid takes first. Bids are settled per block once the payment clears, and the map tells you which ones you won.

JobsInBlockchain was founded by Oliver, an engineer based in New York and Krakow, who dedicated his spare time and passion to its creation. With over 10 years of experience in startup environments, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the project. Oliver is an adept Ruby crafter and remains actively engaged in enhancing his understanding of blockchain-related technologies.
