About the Role
About the Role
This role builds AI-powered on-chain monitoring, forensics, and risk detection systems. You will
combine deep blockchain data analysis with agentic engineering to create tools that identify
illicit fund flows, detect anomalous on-chain behaviour, and support real-time risk decision making
across operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build and maintain on-chain data analysis pipelines for real-time monitoring of suspicious
transactions, wallet clustering, and fund flow tracing
2. Develop AI Agent systems that automate forensic investigation workflows: anomaly
detection to entity attribution to risk scoring to alert generation
3. Integrate and extend blockchain analytics tools (Chainalysis, Nansen, Dune Analytics, or inhouse
equivalents)
4. Build detection models for specific risk scenarios: fake deposit attacks, flash loan exploits,
wash trading, mixer usage, and cross-chain laundering
5. Collaborate with compliance, legal, and security teams to support incident response and
regulatory reporting
6. Rapidly prototype and iterate on analytical tooling using AI coding agents (Claude Code,
Cursor, etc.)
Major Requirements
1. On-chain data analysis + security/risk control background both required, not either/or
2. Familiarity with blockchain protocols, smart contract mechanics, consensus mechanisms,
and cryptography fundamentals
3. Hands-on experience with blockchain monitoring/forensics tools: Chainalysis, Nansen, Dune
Analytics, or equivalent
4. Solid proficiency in at least one of: SQL / Python / JavaScript
5. Practical experience with Agentic Engineering: using AI coding agents to rapidly build and
iterate on tools
6. Ability to independently lead a full forensic investigation from anomaly identification to
complete attribution
Preferred / Bonus
• Real-world experience investigating crypto theft, fraud, or market manipulation cases end-to end
• Smart contract vulnerability research background
• Experience building custom on-chain analytics tooling from scratch
• Familiarity with UTXO-based chains (Bitcoin, Monero) in addition to EVM
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks: FATF Travel Rule, AML/KYC requirements in crypto
context
