AI Expert (Payments & Crypto Solutions)

My client is seeking an AI Payments & Crypto Solutions Expert to drive innovation across their payment ecosystem, covering payment channel services, crypto card solutions, merchant acquisition, cross‑border transactions, crediting flows, and local currency exchange. This role will play a key part in building and optimizing our AI‑powered payment circle/ecosystem, ensuring seamless automation, risk reduction, and global scalability. **Responsibilities** - Develop and apply AI solutions to optimize payment channels, crypto card services, merchant acquisition, and transaction workflows. - Enhance cross‑border payments, FX routing, and settlement efficiency using AI‑driven decision models. - Support onboarding and growth of merchants with AI‑powered risk scoring, automation, and performance insights. - Work with teams to integrate and improve crypto, blockchain, and payment ecosystem components. - Build AI tools for fraud detection, compliance automation, and real‑time monitoring across the payment network. **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, FinTech, or related fields. - 5+ years of experience in payments, fintech, crypto solutions, or AI‑driven financial systems. - Deep knowledge of payment channels, merchant acquiring, cross‑border flows, and FX mechanisms. - Experience working with blockchain technologies, smart contracts, Web3 payments, or crypto card issuing/acquiring. - Hands‑on experience with AI/ML frameworks and data pipelines. - Strong bilingual communication skills in Chinese and English. - Ability to collaborate in a fast‑paced, global environment.
