Blockchain Architect (Full Stack – Digital Assets

**Type of work:** Hybrid (New Jersey / New York) **Project description** Our client is seeking a Full Stack Architect specializing in Digital Assets & Tokenization. In this role, you will lead enterprise architecture and solution strategy for blockchain-enabled digital asset and tokenization platforms, with a focus on real-world assets, digital securities, and institutional custody workflows. **Technical requirements:** - Expertise in designing end-to-end architectures across backend services, React/Next.js frontends, smart contracts, EVM networks, and enterprise blockchain platforms (such as Hyperledger Besu and Kaleido). - Deep knowledge of smart contract standards, including ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, ERC-3643, and ERC-1400. - Strong focus on smart contract security, upgradeability, and gas optimization. - Hands-on experience establishing architecture standards for Web3 applications using Ethers.js, Viem, Wagmi, Node.js, Go, or Rust. - Familiarity with MPC wallet providers such as Fireblocks, DFNS, Turnkey, and BitGo. - Knowledge of KYC/AML integration, transaction monitoring, and compliance requirements for tokenized assets. **Responsibilities:** - Lead enterprise architecture and solution strategy for blockchain-enabled digital asset and tokenization platforms, including real-world assets, digital securities, and institutional custody workflows. - Define scalable end-to-end architectures across backend services, frontend applications, smart contracts, EVM networks, and enterprise blockchain platforms. - Provide architectural leadership for smart contract standards, with a focus on security, upgradeability, and gas optimization. - Design integration strategies for MPC wallet providers, including secure transaction signing and institutional custody workflows. - Establish architecture standards for Web3 applications to support scalable and reliable platforms. - Drive smart contract audit governance, KYC/AML integration, transaction monitoring, and compliance requirements across tokenized asset solutions. - Lead architecture governance, technical roadmaps, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and cross-functional collaboration while mentoring engineering teams and ensuring production-ready implementations. **Must have:** - Proven experience as an Enterprise Blockchain Architect with a strong focus on Digital Assets & Tokenization. - Deep understanding of EVM networks, enterprise platforms (Hyperledger/Kaleido), and Web3 tech stacks (Node.js, Go, Rust, React/Next.js). - Hands-on architectural experience with smart contract standards and MPC wallet integration for institutional custody workflows. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor engineering teams, drive architecture governance, and oversee technical roadmaps. - Availability for immediate interviews and a long-term engagement. - Ability to work on a hybrid schedule in the New Jersey / New York area. **Recruitment process:** Applications are evaluated by our technical team members.
