Blockchain Developer

**THE ROLE:** Working as part of the technology team with minimal daily supervision, the blockchain engineer will be responsible for the design and development of layers 1 & 2 of blockchain. The selected candidate will participate in the opensource blockchain initiatives tailored towards on-chain training and execution of state-of-the-art AI algorithms. **THE LOCATION:** Islamabad, Pakistan **RESPONSIBILITIES** - Take ownership from the conception phase to deployment and management. - Architect and design layer 1 and 2 protocols of blockchain. - Work and contribute to various opensource blockchain initiatives. - Build EVM compatible blockchain protocols that interact with various AI technologies. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:** We are looking for a candidate who has **1-2 years** of experience with the following skill set: - Exceptional programming and logic building skills. - In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Golang, Rust, and/or C++, is a mandatory requirement. - Extensive knowledge of Ethereum, Binance, Polygon and Solana blockchains. Hands on experience in writing smart contracts for these blockchains. - Knowledge of Cosmos blockchain will be considered a big plus. - Extensive experience of working on layers 1 & 2 of blockchain and understanding basics of how nodes work. Preferably experience of contributions to the opensource blockchain projects. - In-depth understanding of blockchain fundamentals, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic protocols. - Experience of decentralized storage solutions such as IPFS, and blockchain Oracle services. - Experience of back-end development, algorithms, and data structures. - Knowledge of Deep learning and LLMs will be considered a big plus. - Good knowledge of NodeJS and Python will be considered a plus. - Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git, or SVN. - Ability to learn, embrace and apply new technologies and techniques. - Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines. - Strong communicator and ability to work in a team environment. **EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:** Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or Computer Engineering from a reputable university with a strong academic background. **Important Note:** Please send your CVs to jobs@funavry.com.
