Chief Compliance Officer – Crypto Exchange | Paraa

About the Role: ParaaCrypto is India’s leading FIU-registered crypto exchange. We’re looking for a Compliance Officer to lead regulatory engagement, ensure ongoing FIU compliance, and oversee all AML/CFT frameworks.This role involves direct reporting to the FIU (Financial Intelligence Unit of India), internal policy enforcement, and proactive risk monitoring.Responsibilities: - Act as the Principal Officer role with FIU-IND (Govt Entity in New Delhi) - Oversee AML/CFT processes, transaction monitoring, and STR filings - Ensure compliance with India’s VDA regulations and global best practices - Update internal SOPs and maintain regulatory documentation - Coordinate with legal, tech, and operations teams on compliance escalations Requirements: - 5+ years experience in compliance (preferably crypto, fintech, or banking) - Strong understanding of FIU regulations, AML/CFT laws, and FATF guidelines - Experience working in or with FIU-regulated entities - Excellent knowledge of crypto asset risks, wallet monitoring, and KYC/KYB norms - LLM or Master’s in Law / Financial Compliance preferred Why Join Us? - Be at the regulatory forefront of India’s crypto ecosystem - High-impact role with leadership - Competitive package
