Country Manager Nigeria (iGaming / Forex / Crypto)

**About the Role** We are looking for a **Country Manager for Nigeria** to lead market expansion, partnerships, and operational setup for a fast-growing international group operating in **iGaming and high-performance verticals (forex / crypto)** . This is a **high-ownership leadership role** , ideal for someone who understands **Nigeria’s digital ecosystem, payments landscape, and user acquisition dynamics** . **What You’ll Do** **Market Ownership & Strategy** - Own the **Nigeria market roadmap** end-to-end - Define market entry and growth strategy based on: - Regulatory environment - Competitive landscape (Betting, Forex, Crypto platforms) - User behavior & acquisition channels - Build a **local playbook** : - Payments infrastructure (PSPs, mobile money, bank flows) - Channel strategy (affiliates, paid media, offline if relevant) - Go-to-market approach **Partnerships & Commercial Development** - Build and manage relationships with: - Payment providers (Flutterwave, Paystack, OPay, etc.) - Affiliates & traffic partners - Agencies and local operators - Lead **negotiations and deal structuring** (CPA / RevShare / Hybrid) - Develop a strong **local network** **Team Build & Local Operations** - Hire and structure the local team, including: - Payments & Operations - Customer Support - CRM / Retention - Risk & Fraud - Define KPIs, workflows, and performance tracking - Ensure operational readiness aligned with HQ **Execution & Localization** - Work closely with HQ (Product, Payments, CRM, BI, Compliance) - Adapt product and funnels to local expectations: - UX & communication style - Payment success optimization - Fraud patterns & prevention - Drive performance across acquisition and retention **What We’re Looking For (Must-have)** - Experience as **Country Manager / Regional Manager / Growth Lead** - Background in at least one of the following: - **iGaming / Betting** - **Forex / CFD** - **Crypto / Trading platforms** - Strong understanding of **Nigeria market dynamics** - Proven experience in: - Partnerships & deal negotiation - Market expansion / scaling operations - User acquisition strategies - Ability to **build teams and lead execution** **Nice to Have** - Experience with **local payment systems and approval optimization** - Existing network in Nigeria (payments, affiliates, fintech, betting) - Experience in **high-risk / restricted verticals** **What You Get** - Remote role with full ownership of the Nigeria market - Competitive base + performance bonus - Direct exposure to leadership - Opportunity to build and scale a market from scratch - Access to international iGaming industry events
