About the Role
At PwC, we focus on creating a promising future, where trust and innovation go hand in hand. Are you ready to take on this challenge with us?
Aiming to support national financial institutions and within the context of its European Network, PwC established, in January 2015, the Financial Services Risk & Regulation (FSRR) Department, fully focused on risk and regulation areas. This includes a wide range of topics such as strategic risk management, governance and internal organization, management frameworks and advanced risk quantification models (credit, interest rate, liquidity, ESG, etc.), business innovation and transformation, and the design of banking recovery and resolution plans.
To achieve this, PwC brought together a unique combination of professionals with extensive experience in banking, capital markets, supervision, and environmental engineering, as well as in the implementation and/or assessment of advanced risk management solutions, benefiting from access to international best practices.
Promoting The Continuous Specialization Of Its Resources, The Department Is Currently Organized Into Four Thematic Areas, With Coordination And Cross-functional Collaboration Ensured
- Risk Modelling, Data & Analytics
- Credit Risk Transformation
- Compliance, RegTech & Web3
- Risk Management Solutions
The Compliance, RegTech & Web3 is expanding its activity and is looking for a suitable junior profile to hire. This team specializes in compliance analysis (gap analysis) and implementation of legislative packages related to the banking, financial intermediation, and insurance sectors – MIFID II/MIFIR (financial intermediation), IDD (insurance distribution), MAD II/MAR (market abuse), DORA (ICT risk), AIFMD/UCITS (investment funds), MiCA (crypto assets) – as well as in conduct and culture assessments of financial institutions, in the definition and review of non-financial risk management frameworks, and in the assessment, transformation, and implementation of the compliance function.
With this opportunity, you will be able to participate in challenging, inspiring, and demanding projects, either with the main national players in the financial system or through PwC’s European Network – a condition we consider fundamental for the personal and professional growth of our team members.
