Protocols evolve weekly, governance models shift overnight, and the gap between insiders and outsiders continues to widen. Our platform exists to close that gap — and we need a senior leader with deep crypto-native fluency to own this mission end-to-end. You will set the educational strategy, curate world-class content, build relationships with the protocols and thought leaders defining the space, and ensure that our learners graduate not just informed, but genuinely capable of operating in on-chain environments. This role sits at the intersection of education, product, and the cutting edge of Web3 — and it reports directly into senior leadership. Key Responsibilities - Own and execute the global vision, strategy, and roadmap for all DeFi-related educational programs, from introductory pathways to advanced professional certifications. - Design and continuously refine a comprehensive curriculum spanning protocol mechanics, on-chain analytics, liquidity engineering, tokenomics, governance, risk management, smart contract literacy, and emerging primitives such as restaking, RWAs, and intent-based architectures. - Build and lead a high-caliber team of curriculum designers, subject-matter experts, instructional engineers, and community educators, fostering a culture of rigor, creativity, and on-chain authenticity. - Establish strategic partnerships with leading DeFi protocols, Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems, research collectives, DAOs, and venture funds to co-create authoritative content and exclusive learning experiences. - Define the standards, frameworks, and assessment methodologies that make our DeFi certifications industry-recognized credentials trusted by employers, protocols, and institutional partners. - Drive thought leadership through original research, public commentary, conference appearances, and high-signal content that positions our brand as the definitive voice in decentralized finance education. - Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and growth teams to translate complex DeFi concepts into engaging, interactive, and pedagogically sound learning experiences — including simulated trading environments, on-chain labs, and live protocol walkthroughs. - Lead the enterprise and institutional learning vertical for DeFi, designing bespoke programs for financial institutions, family offices, regulators, and Fortune 500 organizations entering the space. - Continuously monitor the on-chain landscape, identify emerging narratives and primitives, and ensure that our content portfolio remains the most current and most credible in the market. - Define KPIs, learner outcomes, and impact metrics that quantify the real-world value our programs deliver — and own the performance of the vertical at the executive level. - Champion the cultural ethos of decentralization, open knowledge, and learner empowerment in every initiative the team produces. What We're Looking For - Demonstrable crypto-native experience — you have lived on-chain for years, not months, with a track record of active participation across DeFi protocols, DAOs, governance forums, or contributor roles in meaningful Web3 projects. - Senior leadership experience in education, curriculum design, technical training, or talent development at a recognized institution, fintech, exchange, protocol, or top-tier educational platform. - Deep, hands-on understanding of DeFi mechanics — AMMs, lending markets, derivatives, liquid staking, MEV, bridges, stablecoins, tokenomics, and the broader modular stack. - Proven ability to translate highly technical concepts into elegant, accessible, and engaging learning experiences for diverse global audiences. - Strong network across the DeFi and broader Web3 ecosystem, with established relationships among protocol teams, researchers, founders, and key opinion leaders. - Track record of building and scaling teams, managing senior contributors, and operating with significant autonomy in fast-moving environments. - Strategic mindset paired with executional excellence — you can shape long-term vision and ship world-class programs in parallel. - Genuine passion for the mission of democratizing access to financial knowledge and the transformative potential of decentralized systems. - Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus. - Bonus: prior experience as a contributor, advisor, or core team member at a notable DeFi protocol, or a portfolio of published research, analysis, or educational content in the space.
