Java / Spring Boot Developer (Blockchain) **Location:** United States **Employment Type:** Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled **Java / Spring Boot Developer (Blockchain)** to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and blockchain-related services. The ideal candidate has strong Java and Spring Boot experience, solid backend engineering skills, and an interest or background in blockchain technologies. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. - Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices. - Develop and integrate blockchain-based applications and services. - Work with databases, external APIs, and distributed systems. - Implement secure, reliable, and high-performance backend solutions. - Integrate blockchain networks, wallets, smart contracts, or related services where required. - Troubleshoot, test, and optimize application performance. - Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code. - Collaborate with frontend developers, blockchain engineers, product managers, and other technical teams. - Follow software development best practices, security standards, and Agile methodologies. Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. - 2+ years of professional Java development experience. - Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot. - Experience developing REST APIs and microservices. - Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases. - Experience with Git and modern software development workflows. - Understanding of software architecture, testing, and debugging. - Familiarity with blockchain concepts and distributed ledger technology. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with Ethereum, EVM-compatible networks, or other blockchain platforms. - Familiarity with smart contracts and Web3 technologies. - Experience with Solidity or blockchain APIs. - Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. - Understanding of cryptography, digital signatures, and blockchain security. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
