Our approach to building market infrastructure is one of partnership with the industry and in 2024 have successfully launched our first market-wide platform for funds, with credit and structured products to follow 2025 onwards. At Marketnode, our DMI suite covers the following: - Data services: AI powered structured data and extraction tools - Funds & transaction management: operating Fundnode, a funds transaction management and settlement platform - Digital Assets: multi-asset tokenization, record keeping and asset servicing Having recently closed our Series A investment with major financial institutions such as HSBC, **About the Role** We are looking for a **Junior Web3 Engineer** with **2–3+ years of experience** to join our engineering team. You’ll work on smart contracts, blockchain integrations, wallet infrastructure, and Web3 applications across **EVM-compatible and Solana networks** . This role is ideal for someone who has a solid foundation in blockchain development and wants to grow their expertise by working closely with experienced engineers in a fast-moving Web3 environment. **What You'll Do** - Develop, test, and maintain **Solidity smart contracts** on EVM-compatible blockchains. - Contribute to smart contract development and integrations across **EVM and Solana** ecosystems. - Build and maintain Web3 integrations using **ethers.js and/or Web3.js** . - Support the deployment and maintenance of smart contracts across different networks. - Assist with **wallet and custody infrastructure** , including integrations with Fireblocks or similar platforms. - Troubleshoot blockchain transactions, smart contract issues, and integration-related bugs. - Write **unit, integration, and end-to-end tests** for blockchain applications. - Work with senior engineers to implement features and deliver production-ready solutions. - Participate in code reviews and follow established engineering and security best practices. - Create and maintain technical documentation. - Research and learn new blockchain networks, protocols, token standards, and Web3 technologies as required. - Follow smart contract development, testing, and security standards. Required Experience & Technical Skills **2–3+ years of software development experience** , with hands-on exposure to Web3/blockchain development. Core Technologies - **Solidity** programming language. - **JavaScript and/or TypeScript** . - **ethers.js and/or Web3.js** . - Understanding of **EVM-compatible blockchains** and blockchain fundamentals. - Knowledge of **ERC-20 and ERC-721** token standards. - Familiarity with **OpenZeppelin** smart contract libraries. - Experience with **Git** and standard version-control workflows. - Working knowledge of **PostgreSQL and/or MySQL** . Nice to Have - Experience with **Hardhat and/or Foundry** . - Exposure to **Fireblocks** or other digital asset custody solutions. - Understanding of **ERC-1155** and other token standards. - Basic knowledge of **AWS or Azure** . - Familiarity with **DeFi protocols and wallet integrations** . - Understanding of smart contract **security and common vulnerabilities** . - Exposure to **Solana or other non-EVM blockchains** . - Experience working with blockchain APIs, RPCs, transaction signing, or on-chain data.
