L1 Analyst – Transaction Monitoring (Crypto)

**Job Summary:** We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated **L1 Transaction Monitoring Analyst** to support our compliance and risk team. The role involves monitoring user transactions, identifying suspicious patterns, and ensuring adherence to AML/CFT guidelines in a crypto environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor customer transactions and activities to identify unusual or suspicious behavior - Perform initial review and analysis of alerts generated through transaction monitoring systems - Escalate suspicious cases to L2 / Compliance team with proper documentation - Conduct basic due diligence on users, wallets, and transaction patterns - Maintain accurate records of alerts, investigations, and actions taken - Follow internal policies, AML/CFT guidelines, and regulatory requirements - Assist in identifying emerging typologies and risk indicators in crypto transactions - Work collaboratively with internal teams (KYC, CS and IT) **Eligibility Criteria:** - Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Finance, Commerce, Law preferred) - 0–2 year of experience (freshers can apply) - Basic understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain concepts - Willingness to work in rotational shifts (including night shifts) **Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):** - Certification in AML / CFT (e.g., Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists certification) - Knowledge of transaction monitoring / fraud detection concepts - Familiarity with crypto exchanges, wallets, and blockchain explorers **Key Skills:** - Analytical and problem-solving skills - Attention to detail - Basic understanding of financial crime risks (AML, fraud, sanctions) - Good communication (written and verbal) - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment **What We Offer:** - Opportunity to work in a growing crypto compliance environment - Learning exposure to AML, blockchain analytics, and transaction monitoring - Career growth in compliance and financial crime risk domain Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Benefits: - Paid sick time Work Location: In person
