Having now scaled headcount to almost 150 across the UK, Asia and the US, they are providing liquidity across all major cryptocurrency exchanges and trading platforms and have established themselves as one of the global leaders in the market.

The position will play a significant role in supporting the growth of their US business, working alongside their Head of US Operations and the Global Head of Mid Office and will have exposure to various teams including working closely with Trading, Finance, Compliance and Legal.

**The role**

As the Middle Office Specialist, you’ll sit at the operational heart of the trading business, ensuring seamless trade lifecycle management across crypto and traditional asset classes. This is a hands-on role with meaningful impact on PnL, risk and trading performance.

**Key responsibilities:**

- Manage the crypto settlements process for digital assets, communicating directly with counterparties
- Manage end-to-end middle office operations across equities (stocks & ETFs), options, futures and FX including handling complex reconciliations
- Operational risk management where maintaining a high level of attention to detail is key and ensuring error-free high-value transactions are executed smoothly
- Partner with traders to optimise inventory distribution for maximum efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Trading, Finance, Legal and Compliance teams, identifying regulatory implications
- Support real-time trading operations and trade query resolution
- Support with the design and improvement of operational processes and controls
- Continuous ad-hoc projects to support the business as they continue to scale

**Requirements:**

- Experience in Middle Office or Trade Operations within complex, high-volume environments (HFT or market making experience is a strong advantage)
- Excellent Excel skills
- Proven process improvement experience
- Strong interest in trading and crypto
- Extremely high attention to detail

**Bonus experience:**

- SQL experience or ability to write basic Python scripts
- Series 99 licence
- Previous professional crypto experience
