QA Engineer - Global Crypto Exchange - Remote

Our client, a global crypto exchange, is are actively seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join their dynamic team, to ensure the highest quality of their software products and services. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test strategies to validate their platform’s functionality, performance, and security. Your expertise in Python and Unix/Linux environments will be critical in improving their QA processes. The team has multiple headcounts and are looking for both a manual testing engineer and automation testing engineer. **The role:** - Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for various components of the cryptocurrency exchange platform, ensuring adherence to quality standards. - Design and develop automated test scripts using Python to efficiently validate application features and maintain test coverage. - Conduct manual testing when necessary, including exploratory testing, to identify issues and enhance user experience. - Collaborate with the development team to perform performance, load, and security testing, ensuring the platform is robust and secure. - Identify, document, and track defects in the issue management system. Collaborate with development teams to facilitate timely resolution. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices, providing recommendations for tools and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and operations, to ensure alignment on project requirements and testing scope. **What you offer:** - Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field, preferably within the fintech or crypto trading space. - Strong proficiency in Python for test automation and scripting preferred.
