There is no base salary or hourly wage. - The first step after applying is a short online trader assessment. **About the Role:** Maverick Currencies is looking for disciplined, self-directed traders to trade firm capital in forex, metals, and cryptocurrency. You’ll manage a firm-funded account within set risk limits, under a performance-based independent contractor agreement. This is a trading role. It is not sales, analyst work, or a client-facing position. It’s fully remote with no on-site requirement, and you set your own schedule. **What You’ll Do:** - Trade firm-funded forex, metals, and crypto accounts following an approved written trading plan - Stay within the firm’s risk rules, including daily and maximum drawdown limits and position sizing - Build, test, and refine your trading plan with an assigned coach - Keep a detailed trade journal and submit performance reports for review - Follow price action, market structure, and economic releases for the markets you trade - Join scheduled coaching sessions, trade reviews, and team calls - Complete the firm’s training and evaluation program before trading full capital **What We’re Looking For:** - Working knowledge of technical analysis: chart structure, support and resistance, and common indicators - The ability to follow a defined process consistently, even in volatile markets - Comfort with fully remote work, regular written reporting, and direct coaching feedback - Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace during your chosen trading hours - Prior trading experience is helpful but not required, because structured training is provided - Familiarity with platforms like TradingView is a plus **Pay:** You’ll be paid a performance-tiered share of the net trading profits you generate on firm capital.
