**About the role** We are seeking a highly skilled and system-minded Senior Backend Engineer to join our high-frequency core engineering team. In this role, you will be architecting resilient, low-latency backends for central trading platform infrastructure and chain-level financial channels. If you have an obsession for execution precision, data consistency, and modern AI-augmented workflows, this role offers an unprecedented opportunity to build mission-critical financial systems. **Key responsibilities** - Design, optimize, and maintain high-throughput engine components including order routing, fund movement pipelines, risk control rulesets, clearing, and settlement - Engineer reliable infrastructure for asset scanning, automated withdrawal and payout processing, wallet integrations (Hot/Cold/MPC), and automated reconciliation. - Build critical-path failure recovery mechanisms, ensuring strict transactional consistency, rapid state recovery, and continuous fault isolation - Own end-to-end technical solution designs, drive technical decision-making, evaluate trade-offs, and establish system benchmarks **About you** - 3+ years backend mastery with strong proficiency in Go (Golang) - Candidates with deep experience in Java, Rust, or C++ willing to transition to Go are strongly encouraged - Proven hands-on experience dealing with high concurrency, distributed locks, state machines, and data consistency in production - Ability to clearly articulate architecture choices, trade-offs, and post-mortem lessons from previous systems - Solid computer science foundations and learning agility - Direct exposure to high-reliability financial systems: trading engines, payment gateways, clearing houses, general ledgers, or wallet custodians - Background in central crypto exchanges, prime brokerages, payment processors, quantitative trading desks, or market-making firms - Familiarity with custody solutions, Multi-Party Computation (MPC), Hierarchical Deterministic (HD) wallets, or smart contract interactions - Public code repositories, open-source contributions, or technical blog posts showcasing technical depth - Proficiency in both Mandarin and English is required due to the company’s background and the need to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
