A team of industry veterans and technologists drives the company’s mission to pioneer the next wave of financial innovation. **Role Description** The Senior Blockchain Engineer, Banking Integrations will design, implement, and maintain blockchain-based services and banking integration layers that power the Global Settlement Protocol. This full-time, on-site role in Miami, FL involves building back-end services, APIs, and settlement workflows that connect GSX’s permissioned blockchain with banks, custodians, and financial institutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing secure smart contract and protocol components, integrating KYC/AML and compliance modules, and optimizing performance and reliability of cross-chain and RWA tokenization operations. The role also includes collaborating with product, compliance, and infrastructure teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions, conducting code reviews, and improving engineering standards. The engineer will troubleshoot production issues, contribute to architectural decisions, and help mentor team members on best practices in blockchain and financial systems engineering. **Qualifications** - Strong expertise in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, including protocol design, smart contracts, and tokenization of RWAs. - Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, using modern languages and frameworks (e.g., Go, Rust, Java, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar). - Solid understanding of Cryptography, including key management, secure transaction signing, and consensus-related security models. - Experience integrating with banking and financial services APIs (e.g., payment rails, custodians, core banking systems) and working with KYC/AML and compliance frameworks. - Background in distributed systems, microservices architectures, and high-availability infrastructure in cloud or hybrid environments. - Familiarity with interoperability solutions and cross-chain connectivity, preferably across major public and permissioned blockchains. - Ability to write clean, testable, and well-documented code; experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and secure development practices. - Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical
