Senior Business Analyst – Digital, Data, Blockchai

**Role Summary** The Senior Business Analyst will support Client’s Digital initiatives by leading **business analysis, data enablement, blockchain‑related initiatives, and integration support** across digital, reporting, and emerging technology platforms. The role focuses on translating complex business and digital asset requirements into **enterprise‑ready specifications, data models, reporting structures, and API integration artifacts** , while ensuring adherence to Client’s governance, security, and compliance standards. **Key responsibilities** - **Business & Technical Analysis** - Lead requirements elicitation and analysis; define functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to support Agile delivery across digital and digital‑asset initiatives. - **Data & Reporting Enablement** - Design and review logical and physical data models; support semantic layer and reporting field alignment to ensure accurate, traceable, enterprise‑grade reporting. - **Blockchain & Digital Asset Enablement** - Support analysis and documentation for **blockchain‑based platforms and digital asset workflows** , including custody, transaction lifecycle, reference data, and reporting considerations. Contribute to requirement definition and governance alignment for platforms such as **Carbon** and related digital asset solutions. - **Integration & API Support** - Contribute to analysis and documentation for internal and third‑party API integrations, including **Carbon and digital‑asset‑related APIs** , architecture inputs, and vendor due‑diligence artifacts. - **Governance & Documentation** - Produce high‑quality enterprise documentation (data dictionaries, workflows, architecture artifacts) and ensure adherence to Northern Trust governance, security, and compliance expectations. **Stakeholder Engagement** - Partner with technology, data, product, digital asset, and operations stakeholders. - Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors supporting blockchain and digital asset platforms. - Operate under Northern Trust contractor engagement guidelines with a strong focus on **deliverables and outcomes** . **Profile / Skills** - Senior‑level experience in **Business Analysis** , **Data Modelling** , and **Enterprise Reporting** . - Working knowledge of **blockchain and digital asset concepts** , including distributed ledger technology, transaction flows, asset lifecycle events, and custody‑related data requirements. - Experience supporting **Carbon platform initiatives** , digital asset integrations, or comparable blockchain‑enabled systems. - Familiarity with **API‑driven architectures** , Agile delivery, Azure DevOps, and enterprise documentation standards. - Proven ability to operate effectively in a **regulated financial services environment** .
