**Part-Time | Remote (Africa Preferred)** **Company:** Auspicious AI & Blockchain **Location:** Remote (Strong preference for candidates based in Africa) **Compensation:** Monthly stipend / Internet connectivity stipend (competitive for local markets; varies depending on experience) **About the Role** Auspicious AI & Blockchain is seeking a motivated Social Media & Community Growth Intern to support and grow our digital presence across multiple platforms, with Facebook as one of our core engagement channels. This role replaces a valued team member who is transitioning out and is ideal for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience working with a globally focused AI and blockchain brand connected to Africa and the African Diaspora. You’ll work closely with the founder and core team to help grow our audience, promote events, and strengthen our online community. This is a learning-focused, impact-driven role with meaningful responsibility—not busy work. **Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Posting & Content Support** - Assist with posting, scheduling, and optimizing content across: - Facebook - LinkedIn - Instagram - TikTok - X (Twitter) - Repurpose long-form content into short-form posts, reels, and captions - Light content creation (basic visuals, short clips, post copy, hashtags) **Community Growth & Engagement** - Share and amplify company posts across relevant groups and communities - Engage professionally with comments and messages - Support organic follower growth and audience engagement - Help build online communities around AI, blockchain, and Africa-focused topics **Event Promotion** - Promote Auspicious AI & Blockchain events, meetups, webinars, and talks - Create and post event reminders and follow-up content - Help highlight speakers, themes, and key insights from events **Analytics & Performance Tracking** - Track basic social media metrics (followers, engagement, reach, views) - Help identify what content performs best—especially on Facebook - Suggest simple improvements to increase visibility and engagement **Operational & Admin Support (Light)** - Help organize social media links, profiles, and content calendars - Assist with basic research, outreach, or coordination tasks - Provide general digital support to the founder as needed **Ideal Candidate Profile** - Based in **Africa** (strong preference) - Interested in **AI, technology, blockchain, entrepreneurship, or digital media** - Comfortable using **Facebook Pages & Groups** and other major platforms - Strong written English (additional languages are a plus) - Reliable, organized, and proactive - Able to work independently in a remote environment - Eager to learn and grow with an international brand No formal degree required.
