Wallet Operations Specialist - Crypto Exchange

Our client is a Dubai-based fintech company operating under licensing from the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA). The company is building regulated digital asset infrastructure designed to serve the UAE, the wider GCC region, and international markets.

Currently transitioning from licensing to full operational launch, the business operates a regulated cryptocurrency exchange and is expanding into real-world asset (RWA) tokenization and digital payment solutions.

We are seeking a Wallet Specialist to manage daily wallet operations within a regulated crypto exchange. The role focuses on deposit/withdrawal monitoring, blockchain verification, reconciliation, and coordination across tech and compliance functions.

This is a critical operational role ensuring secure and efficient asset movement.

Key Responsibilities

**Wallet Monitoring**

- Monitor deposits and withdrawals across multiple blockchain networks
- Verify transaction confirmations and investigate discrepancies
- Escalate delayed or stuck transactions to technical teams

**Reconciliation & Security**

- Review hot and cold wallet balances
- Support wallet reconciliation processes
- Assist with internal wallet security procedures

**Cross-Functional Coordination**

- Work with compliance on flagged or high-risk transactions
- Support customer support with wallet-related cases
- Conduct test transactions during system updates and integrations

Requirements

- 1–3 years experience in crypto exchange or wallet operations
- Strong understanding of blockchain confirmations, fees, and explorers
- Familiarity with wallet security practices
- High attention to detail and structured communication
