They are seeking a **Financial Accountant or Newly Qualified CA(SA)** to join their growing finance function. This is a hands-on accounting role suited to an individual who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day finance function rather than operating solely at a review level. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing management reporting, managing reconciliations, and supporting the broader finance team in delivering high-quality financial information. Key Responsibilities - Maintain accurate financial records and oversee day-to-day accounting activities. - Process financial transactions, journals, accruals, and reconciliations. - Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. - Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and digital asset transactions. - Support month-end and year-end reporting processes. - Assist with external audit requirements and compliance activities. - Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information. - Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls. - Provide finance support across various business functions and projects. Job Experience and Skills Required - BCom Accounting with Honours. - Newly Qualified CA(SA) or Accountant with strong accounting experience. - Exposure to **Crypto, Digital Assets, or Web3 environments** is essential. - Experience performing a full accounting function. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems. - Strong reconciliation and analytical abilities. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently while remaining a strong team player.
