**About HashKey Group** HashKey Group is a leading licensed digital asset financial group in Asia, with businesses spanning licensed digital asset trading, asset management, on-chain financial infrastructure, and real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation. We are building Asia's hub for institutional digital asset trading, clearing and settlement, and custody. **About the Role** Group Strategy works directly in support of senior management decision-making. We are looking for a Web3 Researcher to cover industry and blockchain research, strategic studies, and regulatory tracking — providing the analytical foundation for our business roadmap, new business cases, and external market views. This role will suit someone who can read both on-chain data and traditional financial business logic. **Key Responsibilities** **Industry & Blockchain Research** — Track the technical roadmaps, token economics, ecosystem development and competitive dynamics of major blockchains and Layer 2 networks; produce research with clear views backed by data. **Sector Coverage** — Cover stablecoins and on-chain payments, RWA and asset tokenisation, digital asset custody, clearing and settlement, DeFi, and institutional digital asset services. **Strategic Studies** — Conduct feasibility studies on new business directions, market entry routes and competitive positioning to inform management decisions. **Peer & Target Research** — Monitor the business models and performance of global digital asset firms and licensed financial institutions; support early-stage research for partnerships and investments. **Policy & Regulatory Tracking** — Track digital asset regulatory developments across Hong Kong, Singapore, the Middle East, the US and the EU, and assess their practical impact on our business. **Thought Leadership** — Contribute to industry reports, whitepapers and published research. **Requirements** - Bachelor's degree or above in finance, economics, computer science, mathematics, statistics or a related discipline. - A systematic understanding of the Web3 industry — able to articulate the real differences in technical approach, token economics and ecosystem competition across major blockchains, rather than repeating narratives. - Proven experience owning research projects end to end, with conclusions supported by data and written up clearly. - Full professional proficiency in both English and Chinese; able to work directly with primary English sources — protocol documentation, regulatory papers and financial filings — and to write in English. **Preferred Qualifications** - A traditional finance research background: sell-side research, investment banking, asset management, ratings agencies, management consulting, or research and strategy roles at an exchange, clearing house or custodian bank. - A hybrid profile combining traditional finance and Web3 — the background we value most. - Published research: analyst reports, in-depth industry articles, or on-chain data analysis. - Hands-on on-chain data capability, with tools such as Dune, Nansen, Token Terminal and Artemis. - Your own analytical framework for token economics and blockchain valuation. **What We Look For** - Self-directed — you define the question, not only answer the one you are handed. - Willing to take a view, and equally willing to change it when the data says otherwise. - Genuine, long-term curiosity about this industry.
